Christmas Sliding Puzzle Cards - lots of sparkle and glitter to day, but also one of those days where everything went wrong, so I show you a few ways you can fix things, but also a different way to make your puzzle adding your pieces vertically instead of horizontally.
There's a Sneak Peak of what might be coming next, hidden at the end of the video.
No specialist crafting equipment is needed, these cards need minimal supplies- all you need are pencil, ruler, and a paper trimmer (or even just a ruler and craft knife, which is what I ended up using on one card today) to make these cards. Foam tape will make these easier to assemble, but you can make them with stacked card stock strips or craft foam instead if you prefer.
You can put anything you like on your puzzle as long as you can still cut it up when you've finished, so you can die-cut, stamp, colour, get inky, whatever you love to do.
Green Glitter and Sparkle Christmas Tree Snowflake Card 5"x5" puzzle on a 6" square card - NEW Vertical pieces.
Yes, it's a bit messed up on the bottom row, but we are handmade, not Hallmark, and I could probably make it look a little better by adding a bit more glitter back in the gaps.

Measurements for a 4.5"x 5.25" puzzle with 3/4" size pieces
Base and top piece 4.5"x 5.25"

My foam tape for all the strips was about 2mm (1/16") deep and 5mm (3/16") wide. These measurements will work with foam tape of up to 1/4" wide, but you may need to trim and adjust the width at the top and bottom to fit your final strip on your base piece.
